Richard Dolan, artist extraordinaire, is one of Teesside's best kept secrets. He’s produced artwork for
the great and the good including Vic Reeves, 2000AD, WH Smith and The Frighteners starring Michael J. Fox.
You might not know the name but you have seen his artwork on the Domestos germs ads. Yes, those grotesquely
stomach churning germs are designed in Ingleby Barwick by Richy! Mr Dolan went to school with theTees Bally Fibber’s
editor Dean Wilkinson. They attended The Bassleton School (now  T.C.S.) in Thornaby 1979 – 1983 together.

Dean says, ’The fist time I noticed Rich was when I saw him wearing a haversack with the words ‘Don’t Panic’ beautifully painted
onto it. I was so happy to see someone else was a Douglas Adams and The Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy fan.
Plus, I was relieved to think this guy is going to get picked on for being a nerd far more than I am. Result!'
